Elon Musk has revealed that he is ready to enter the smartphone market if Apple and Google decide to boot Twitter from their respective app stores. In a recent Twitter thread, discussing the implications of Apple and Google removing Twitter from the App Store or Play Store, Musk said he would build an alternative phone.
In his tweet, he said, “I certainly hope it doesn’t come to that, but, yes, if there is no other option, I will make an alternate phone.”
Musk introduced himself as a “free-speech” absolutist and the discussion started when some users on Twitter claimed that Apple and Google operating systems could be “biased” and “snooping”.
I certainly hope it doesn’t come to that, but, yes, I’ll make an alternate phone if there’s no other option.

Presently, Elon Musk is in the business of space travel, electric vehicles, construction of tunnels and now social media. Needless to say if the billionaire decides to make a smartphone or introduce his own operating system for the phone.
