Today, the Honorable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage, announced Appointed Vicky Etrides as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Alicia Barin and Adam Scott as Vice Presidents Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC),
The appointments are the result of a transparent and merit-based selection process by the Government of Canada, canadian heritage Told.

ETrides has held several senior roles in the public sector, including with the Canadian Competition Bureau, Natural Resources Canada and the Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED). She also taught competition law at Queen’s University in Kingston and is a member of the Ontario Bar. She holds degrees in Economics and Common Law.
Barin was first appointed by the CRTC in 2019 as Quebec’s regional commissioner and spent 20 years as a senior-level executive and vice-president of strategic planning at Astral Media, Canada’s largest payroll, before being acquired by and specialty was television and radio broadcaster. by Bell Media in 2013. She is the interim Vice Chairperson of CRTC from August 2022.
Scott has been advising the federal government on telecommunications and spectrum policy for 20 years, and currently serves as Director General of the Spectrum Policy Branch in the Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED).
