Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute about 71,000 appointment letters to the newly recruited recruits recruited under the employment fair through video conferencing on 22 November.

The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation. The statement issued from the Prime Minister’s Office said that the employment fair will act as a catalyst for further employment generation and provide worthy opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and direct participation in national development.

Last month, 75,000 job fair recruiters received appointment letters.

Physical copies of appointment letters will be distributed to new recruits at 45 locations across the country, except in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. The new recruitments will include Teacher, Lecturer, Nurse, Nursing Officer, Doctor, Pharmacist, Radiographer and other technical and paramedical posts in addition to the already filled posts.

Ministry of Home Affairs is filling up a huge number of posts in various Central Armed Police Forces.

According to a PMO statement, PM Modi will also launch Karmayogi Pramukh Module, an online orientation course for all new recruits in various government departments.

“This will include a code of conduct for government employees, workplace ethics and integrity, HR policies and other benefits and perks that will help them adapt to the policies and transition smoothly into new roles,” the statement said.
